Widow sets up garment shop with help from Dreams

Sufiya-behn lost her husband in an accident. He had been driving a truck. She had to move her home, from village Nalliya to Bhuj in order to find work and make ends meet. She and her daughter had been making bangles, which gave them earnings of Rs.5000 a month. This was definitely not enough for a family of seven.

Sufiya wanted to start a small business of trading in garments, sourcing from a wholesale market in Surat. She did not have the means to set this up. Now with a loan of Rs.50,000 from Dreams foundation, this hard working dreamer could finally start her business. She is really excited for the future. We wish her the best.
